Rustic Anthropologie Inspired Baby Shower

As promised......... Here are the pics from my Sister's Baby Shower. It was this past weekend and it turned out LOVELY!! Just what I had envisioned!!

I was going for a Rustic, Anthropologie vibe with a touch of the outdoors. My Sister and her Hubby are way into being outdoors and are actually doing the nursery in an Outdoors theme. I wanted to carry that over to the shower.

So, let's just dive right in and start with the best part......... The Dessert Bar!! :)

I used burlap to make a cute little banner to go over the Dessert Bar and stenciled Baby Boy in Orange and Turquoise. I used these two colors as a fun "pop" against the neutral burlap. You will see them more as we go along.

All of the "Yummy Goodness" that you see was handmade by me and my parents!
The little "Treat" sign I made using a little slate board from Michaels that I trimmed with rolled moss. So easy and super cute!!

Ok, take a few minutes to drool................

Lemon Coconut Poundcake:

Amaretto Almond Poundcake, Carrot cupcakes(mini & regular), Chocolate Chip Cookies(can't go wrong!):

Strawberries & Cream Cake Pops:

S'mores Pops:

These are a huge hit and sooooo easy to make!!

Button Cookies (in Orange & Turquoise of course!):

And the next best part???

The Candy Buffet!!!:

This was our "Thank You" to all of our guests. Everyone filled up a little brown bag before they left. :)

We also had a little station for everyone to enter the Diaper raffle and to write "Love Notes" to baby Brayden or "Words of Wisdom" for his Mommy & Daddy":

No Baby Shower is complete without a cute Clothes Line!! :)

The Food:

We had 7 different quiches to choose from, salads, a beautiful cheese platter and bread & muffins. YUMMY!!!

Moving Outdoors......

We had tables & chairs set up in the back for everyone to enjoy lunch and play games. The weather was perfect!!

I used burlap outside as well. I placed a piece in the center of the tables and also used it to wrap Orange ranunculus.

I added some candles that I had covered in scrapbook paper that looked like barnwood and finished them off with some burlap ribbon.

We picked up the cute little animals at Target around the holidays. The acorns I actually found on clearance at Walmart.

I wanted to display some of the pictures that I had taken of my sister so I put them in these cute mason jars and added the wood fillers to the bottom (also found on clearance at Walmart).

I needed to add a pop of color outside so I made another banner. this time I used scrapbook paper and some felt letters that I found at Michaels. I couldn't believe they came in orange!! :)

HELLO BRAYDEN!!!!

I couldn't resist hanging these little guys in the tree!! :)

I think that just about covers it! It was a great day!! Here are a few last shots of the tables, our guests and my sister digging into her gifts.

Here is one last pic of me & my sister. How great does she look!!?? And yes, that is me!! I got myself a new little Pixie cut and went dark!! So fun!! I'm lovin' it!!

Now that the shower is over I don't know what to do with myself!! I have a few projects in mind but, not sure how soon they will get done.

So, until then.........

Have A Blessed Day!!
